301 Redirect not working with entire domain inputted

I am using the full URL to begin the redirect but Webstudio isn't recognizing it as valid and I am still receiving an error message.

the from url is a path, not a full url

Got it. Then I have a different issue where the www. is propagating but the root domain is not for some reason.

not sure I understand what you mean. You added www. to webstudio and it works but you can't add your apex domain to webstudio?
