A Domain Issue

At a glance

The community member has a website at www.scorvv.com, which they linked to Webstudio, but they noticed that the search bar shows a different URL, https://scorvv-7fft5.wstd.io/. The community members are using Epik as their DNS provider, and they were told they need to provide an IP address for the website, but they are unsure how to find that. Other community members suggest that they don't need an IP address, as they should use a CNAME record instead. They also recommend using Cloudflare as a free option to manage the DNS settings and point the domain to the correct URL.

Useful resources
so I have the website www.scorvv.com, i bought the domain and linked it with webstudio and everything worked well but then one day I noticed that if I actually go to that website, the search bar will show this: https://scorvv-7fft5.wstd.io/ even though I have the domain linked and everything. I dont understand why it is happening. How can I solve that?

Who are you using for DNS? Something isn't pointed correctly.
you didn't setup DNS, you have a redirect from your domain to wstd domain
the dns provider is epik
so how do I fix that?
so ive been trying to resolve this with the domain provider and i have been told that I need to give them an IP of the website, how do I find that?
I'm not up to date on this thread but read this

i have been told that I need to give them an IP of the website

There is no IP to give. We use CNAMEs which don't use IP addresses. If your DNS provider doesn't support using a CNAME then run from them. Cloudflare is a great free option
You can also keep your domain there and sign up for cloudflare and use their A record IP. In the linked page are video tutorials, it's the same as with godaddy
oh okay, thank you very much for the advice, i will see what I can do
