A/B testing Pages

At a glance

A community member suggests adding A/B testing functionality to Webstudio, which would allow easily testing different versions of website elements to optimize conversions and user experience. The suggestion includes a dedicated A/B testing tab, tools to create variations, and a dashboard to track results. Another community member mentions PostHog as a cool tool for this. The Webstudio team responds that they are researching the idea and may explore connecting to third-party A/B testing solutions, but they would not build it in-house as it is a product in itself. They provide a link to the related issue on their GitHub repository.

Hey Webstudio team!
I have an awes ome feature suggestion: A/B testing!
Imagine being able to easily test different versions of your website elements (headlines, images, buttons, etc.) right within Webstudio to see what performs best. This would be a game-changer for optimizing conversions and improving user experience. Here's how I envision it working: A dedicated A/B testing tab in the editor.
  • Simple tools to create variations of page elements.
  • A dashboard to track results and see which variation wins. This would make Webstudio even more powerful and user-friendly. What do you think?

PostHog is pretty cool for this.
This is on our list to research to see what we should do. We wouldn't build something in house though as this is a product in itself, however, if there anything needed to better connect to third parties then we can explore adding it. Here's the issue for this
