Adding a Custom Domain to Your Site

At a glance

A community member is unable to add a custom domain to their site and is seeking help. The community members suggest trying incognito mode, checking for Chrome extensions, and testing on a new blank project to see if the issue is with the specific project. The issue is eventually resolved by using incognito mode. However, the community member then faces another issue with the domain not propagating, and they are advised to check the documentation, wait for the publishing process to complete, and optimize the website's performance.

that looks very strange, is it still reproducible?
@Oleg Isonen Yes, it is still happening.
so you added that domain, clicked add domain and that happened?
I just did the same and it doesn't happen to me
not sure how this is even possible
one idea is try incognito mode, some extension may be doing something super weird
if you have chrome extensions
Assuming you already tried to reload
As a test also try doing the same on a new blank project
if blank project works, it may mean your project got somehow corrupted and we need to look into it
@Oleg Isonen The issue has been solved. It worked in incognito mode. Thank you so much. Webstudio is in good hands.
@Oleg Isonen I am facing an other issue:

Now, domain is not propagating.

This is my domain

oh you see it gave you an error and a link to the error description
did you publish after connecting domain?
Yes, I published it. I did it again.
The same error is still there.
I think you didn't wait, publishing takes about 40 seconds and is indicated in the publish dialog
wow, really good job on the website!
Thank you. It will get more optimized.
Also, please add this our main website as Case Studies.
I will be making few more. Those will also be crazy.
Some performance advices:
Use https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-reviewtor-com/seh18oatwb?form_factor=mobile to check performance

  1. set images that are high up in the viewport (user can see them right away) to loading eager
  2. reduce the amount of fonts you use to a minimum, ideally use a variable font, because you can use one font for all font settings (right now your fonts are 1 mb)
Also, should I offer my services to your servers.?
Yeah, no problem, probably best place is #︳introductions
also #︳showcase
