The community members discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using the desktop version of Webstudio. One community member suggests that the main advantage is that it is a separate app, but otherwise it is also browser-based and requires an internet connection. Another community member states that it depends on personal workflow, and they prefer having the desktop version separate from their browsers, as it allows them to avoid issues with browser plugins and custom shortcut keys. However, there is no explicitly marked answer in the comments.
It depends on your personal workflow. Personally, I love it separate from my browsers. I have my browser plug-ins knowing they won't mess with my desktop version, don't need to worry about custom browser shortcut keys messing with it either.
