Attributes

At a glance

The post asks if Webstudio has the ability to set custom attributes in the properties panel, such as a name and value for an element, and the ability to target CSS styles with these attributes. The comments indicate that Webstudio does have the ability to set custom "properties" in the properties panel, but it is not currently possible to set name and value attributes that can target CSS styles. The community members are still figuring out the best way to implement this feature.

Does webstudio have the ability to set custom attributes in the properties panel? Such as a name and a value for an element, also have the ability for attributes to target css styles? I feel this would be a critical option for when components are released hopefully soon.

Yes, it does. We call them "properties". When you type the name you can choose from the list or create custom one.

Not at the moment. We still figuring out what will work best here.
I am confused, custom attributes - sure, but what do you mean by "name and value for an alement"?
