Copy multiple tokens and ordering

At a glance

The community member is playing with a token demo created by Alex and is looking for a way to copy the list of tokens and their ordering to different elements. They have over 20 elements with their own sub-content, and they are manually adding the tokens to each parent element and adjusting their order. The community members discuss the usefulness of this feature, with one noting the nice search/autocomplete feature. Taylor, another community member, suggests duplicating the instance along with the tokens, but the original poster notes that this solution doesn't work for going back and changing a bunch of elements with different content.

I'm playing around with the token demo that Alex made and posted a little while ago. (Very helpful @Alex!).

There are several elements that I want to have the list of tokens. It would be neat if there was a way to copy all of them and their ordering to different elements.

Right now I have well over 20 elements with their own sub content. I'm manually adding the tokens to each parent element and adjusting their order. (maybe there's already a way to do this or achieve what I'm asking?)

Thanks

Just noticed that I could type "bn2" and get the list of tokens that includes "border-n-200". Very nice search/autocomplete feature! 🤩
very valid feature request when using many tokens
it would be not needed if we had components
but still very useful cc @Taylor
Interesting idea, thank you. I have written this down as part of our next tokens update. No definite plans on when that will be though.

If I wanted to copy a bulk of tokens to a new instance, I would duplicate the instance, along with the tokens.

That won't work for every situation, but it sounds like it would work for yours.
Thanks!

@Taylor, I can do that for new elements, but if I'm going back and changing a bunch that have different content this solution doesn't work. I've used your ideas for new elements though!
