Could we have Cloudflare Web Analytics built-in?

At a glance

The community members discuss the possibility of Webstudio accessing the analytics provided by Cloudflare, which is already set up for Webstudio sites hosted on Cloudflare. Some community members suggest it would be convenient for clients to have the analytics dashboard built into the Webstudio admin, while others note that it is currently possible to add analytics, though less convenient. The community members also discuss the roadmap and priorities, with one member stating that it is not being added to the roadmap currently as there are more pressing issues to address.

Webstudio Cloud sites are hosted on Cloudflare. It also happens that Cloudflare provides a free, privacy-conscious analytics service. This service seems to be already built into and pre-configured for all sites proxied through Cloudflare, and those deployed as Cloudflare Pages.

If that is indeed the case, would it be possible then for Webstudio to access those stats and display them directly in the website itself? β€” eg., by having a 'Site Analytics' dashboard for the site, where the stats are displayed for any client wanting to see them?

That would mean that every Webstudio site would have by default an amazing analytics solution built-in!

Potentially yes. Or we roll out our basic own solution, which (if basic) isn't too hard either. At the moment this is not on the roadmap because you can easily get any analytics added (even though its more comfortable have basics built in)
Also: check if you get the analytics by connecting cloudflare's nameserver. Maybe that's already automatically available in that case
I'm sure we can make it work with Cloudflare, but it would certainly be easier for our clients if they could check analytics within the site admin for Webstudio . It would be wonderful if we could add it to the roadmap... πŸ™
I am not adding it to the roadmap simply because currently its something that's possible, but less convenient, and there is a lot of stuff that's literally blocking people to do things, because its impossible.
Also I think most people will still want a proper analytics, so this is kinda a highlevel feature that's just nice to have.
