Creating a Password-Protected Page

At a glance

The community members are discussing the possibility of creating a password-protected page where users must log in to view the content. One community member is interested in creating a Learning Management System (LMS) in Webstudio and wonders if they would need to connect an external tool. Another community member mentions a Supabase template in the marketplace, but they didn't like that the authentication is frontend-only. They suggest that for an LMS, this might be okay since the focus is on protecting educational materials rather than Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The community has also created an issue on the Webstudio GitHub repository to explore this further.

what's your use case?
I was wondering if I could create a LMS in webstudio. I would probably need to connect an external tool.
btw, I just took your course. It was fantastic
there's a supabase template in the marketplace. I started creating a template of my own that's simpler but didn't love that the auth is frontend only. So for an LMS it might be okay because you aren't needing to protect PII rather education materials (on the website that is – your user stuff would be secure in the db)
