custom code

At a glance

The community member created a simple box with a linear gradient background that displays correctly in the editor, but not in the preview. The community members discuss this issue, with one suggesting that the box may not have any height, and that the editor's logic gives it a size to make it visible. Another community member confirms this and suggests adding height to the box, which resolves the issue.

Hi, I’ve created a simple box with a linear gradient background. It displays correctly in the editor, but it doesn’t show up in the preview. Is this a known issue, or am I missing something?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Try to scroll css preview up
Ahh sorry about this thank you very much
I bet your box doesn't have any height and its empty, you see it on canvas only because we have logic that gives it some size just to see it at all
this is necessary behavior, otherwise you wouldn't be able to select it on canvas
give it some height
yes It works now thank you
