custom domain CNAME record issue with ARUBA.it

At a glance

The community member is trying to set up a custom domain with their provider ARUBA.it, but the provider only accepts alphanumeric values when adding a CNAME. The community member has done a DNS lookup, but it resulted in multiple addresses. The community members discuss potential solutions, including switching providers, adding a record called www.domain.xxx, and using quotes for the TXT value. However, there is no explicitly marked answer to the original issue.

I'm trying to set up a custom domain but my provider ARUBA.it only accepts alphanumeric values when adding a CNAME.
I've done a DNS lookup but it results in multiple address.
How can I solve that?
Thank you for your help.

thank you but this does not cover the case of CNANE where only alphanumeric are allowed.
Yeah I would still go with option 1 though and switch providers. It's proper CNAME "syntax" to allow dashes and dots so that provider is just arbitrarily preventing it
Hi @bullx have you figured out how to add your domain in Webstudio?
I have the same problem in one of the domains I have, it's a .pt domain.
yes, adding a record called www.domain.xxx as @John Siciliano suggest in the guide has solved the issue.
when I add TXT value it still getting an error

Quotes should be fine. I think most platforms auto add them
