The community member is trying to publish their website to a custom domain (www.ps-digital-solutions.de) but is encountering an error message stating that the "custom hostname does not CNAME to this zone." They are unable to use the "@" symbol for the CNAME entry, as their domain registrar (United Domains) only allows the use of the "*" wildcard, which stands for all subdomains.
In the comments, another community member suggests that the issue may be similar to problems encountered with GoDaddy, and provides a link to some documentation on domain connection issues with GoDaddy. However, there is no explicitly marked answer to the community member's specific problem.
hey there, i wanted to publish to my custom Domain. (www.ps-digital-solutions.de). So i entered the CNAME and TXT to my Domain. (United Domains)
The Status Check is saying the following Error: "custom hostname does not CNAME to this zone." I can't use the "@" for the CNAME entry, united domains is only allowing the " * " which stands for all subdomains.
