Disconnecting

Pretty sure there is some kind of issue either with your internet (breaking up) or between you and the servers, which might be a problem outside of your reach between your internet provider and the rest.

How I know this? because we are not holding an active connection, we are either able to send data or there is a problem between the 2 endpoits yours and the server.

When did it start and how long is it going like that?

Another thing is we are always retrying to send the changes, so even with an unstable internet connection you should be able to sync

How do you experience this visually? You get any errors or notifications?

do you have multiple tabs or browsers open with the same project?

I noticed the red cloud at the top right which sayed that I don´t have a connection. So I ran a couple of tests but I´m pretty sure I´m connected with the internet.

I can imagine that it has to do with my connection but it seems to be fine.

Maybe the problem is, that my internet connection is down for a moment, webstudio recognises this, put up the red little cloud and the is not reconnecting although my internet is back again.

I will try to find a solution with my connection and if I fail, I will come back here 😬

recovery from offline works, you can test it by

1. disconnect internet on your computer
2. make a change
3. wait for red icon
4. connect internet
5. see red icon disappears, and after reload your change is synced up

@Oleg Isonen, would there be a possibility of eventually having the desktop app run locally without internet connection? Obviously it would need to be connected to get updates and push to a domain.

This sounds cool in theory, but I understand it might be out of the realm of your plan.
