Isn't updates channel allowing you to subscribe and receive notifications?

It would look the same as the new message in "chat" channel. Not catchy for an eye

I had typed "@"here then remvoed it before that last one. I was worried it would piss people off. But I guess too bad, they can mute if they dont want right?

for me, it’s only annoying when folks outside of the team use it. like “@“everyone when they are looking for some kind of technical help.

Is there an issue with just a simple tag we can self add? Feel like this is one of the easiest way to get notified.

Also good point about channel subscribing but there is news and alerting.

The everyone is imho not that much comfy but also acceptable.

Oh and I see all roles are (were?) added using the channel and roles menu. Perfect so I guess it’s just about using those tags, understood. Thank you!
