Display none shortcut on local element (or something)

At a glance

A community member, who is a designer, suggests adding a toggle button that applies a "display none" property to selected elements, similar to features in design apps like Figma. Other community members respond that there is an existing "show" toggle in the settings to exclude instances from the tree, and they are planning to add a 👁️ button in the navigator to do the same thing, as it would be a huge convenience factor. The community members agree that this feature is designed and just waiting to be built, but other features have been prioritized first. A link to a related GitHub issue is provided.

Useful resources
I'm a designer and as a designer i rely a lot on the left pannel to identify elements. I would find very intuitive to find a toggle button that apply a display none propriety to the selected local élement. Exactly like you would find on many UI design app such as figma. Simply shown as an eye icon.
Is this has been already though?

We have "show" toggle in settings to exclude instances completely from the tree
Show is the equivalent, but we are adding 👁️ button in navigator too. It's gonna do the same thing as show toggle in settings.

We really need it, it's a huge convenience factor
Thanks @Ludovic , I agree!

This is designed, it's just waiting to be built! We've had to prioritize other features first.
