Downloading a file from a webhook form

At a glance

The community member is trying to download a file, such as an image or video, from a webhook form. They are using the "make.com" service and the webhook module, but are unable to download the file as it is only showing up as "text" data. The community members have tried setting the enctype property on the form to multipart/form-data, but this did not help. They have also shared a link to a form they are testing, and have asked the community for a solution or a video tutorial on how to handle file uploads through a webhook.

Useful resources
I'm curious, do you know how to download a file from a webhook form? Like an image or video file?

I am not quite sure what you mean.
It will be easier to understand if you explain from user perspective first.
When my webook retrieves data from the "form from webstudio" I am unable to download the file to use on my automation workflow. It just shows data as a "text" when I need it to be a downloadable data.
referring to the "png" file from the image.
so user uploads a png to a webhook and you can't download that png from the service you are using for webhooks ?
what is that service and did you search there why that can happen?
I use "make.com". I am currently using the webhook module.
Any update on a method?
can you share a builder link?
as an idea I have is to try add attributes for multipart form
enc=multipart/form-data
yes here is a link, it is the 2nd form titled as "FORM-TESTING - Upload Image" here the link: https://apps.webstudio.is/builder/136e905b-db53-4605-9e81-62df956c0c34?authToken=50040b70-d6b5-490c-a570-7dc02c9f163b&mode=preview

Thank you for the help! I will provide 5 star reviews on different platforms! Thank!
so did you try setting this property on the form?
its difficult for me to test since I would have to set up make.com
Yeah, I have tried that, but it did no help.
Still trying to figure out how to send the file as a downloadable link.

Make.com is free.
Did you try setting the attr on the form?
I am not sure how to do that, any possible way your team can develop a video for forms that takes in files? and using a webhook?
yeah, we need to test that out, I don't think we tried
Thank you, if I may kindly ask please update when you do! Thanks again
