The community member is currently using Wix Studio for their event and ticket sales, but is dissatisfied with the platform's bugs, slowness, and lack of customization. They are considering moving to Webstudio and are looking for suggestions on event management platforms that can be well integrated using the API. This would allow them to create individual event pages automatically within Webstudio and have full control over the design. The community members in the comments suggest using a Notion template that connects to a Notion calendar, which can then be pulled into Webstudio. They also mention that while there is a learning curve, it is doable. Additionally, they share a YouTube video as a resource.
Hello everyone! I have a site built with Wix Studio where I use the app for events and ticket sales. Wix is full of bugs, slow and very little customizable, so I am thinking of moving to Webstudio.
I know I could just use any another platform for event management and then put in some iframe or embed code, but do you have any suggestions for a platform that can be well integrated using the API? So that I can also create individual event pages automatically within Webstudio and create exactly the design I want.
I don't have much experience working with the API, is this a complicated thing to implement?
There is a learning curve, but it's totally doable. Plus theres a Notion template in the Marketplace that connects to a Notion calendar. You can add all the info you need there, pull it into Webstudio and have full control over design
