Where does facebook pixel code add on go into. which is ideal place.

You can put it into the global custom code field https://docs.webstudio.is/university/foundations/project-settings#general

so global custom code field on top of every page. add <head> and add the code in <html embed>

Are you saying not to put the code in project settings but put it in a html embed and add the <head> tag?

If they give you two scripts and one needs to be in the head and one in the body then use the projecting settings for the head and and html embed for the body

I put a facebook pixel in the project settings custom code and facebook cant seem to recognize it. Is this just an issue of dns not yet refreshing? or am I doing something wrong?

you can check if the pixel is making a request in the network panel where you see all requests when you load the site

Project settings only run on the published site so make sure youre testing outside the builder. Let us know if its still happening and share the site please

i dont see it there, meanwhile the tag for google analytics which was placed by someone else in the same place for custom code a while ago is there and can be seen in the network pannel.

yeah I was testing with the event setup tool from facebook which opens up the page url directly. Can I share the website even if it has to do with BDSM (no nudity or excplicit images or texts)? I saw some notice against this.

Nah don't share it. Let me talk to an engineer about it. I think we are blocking certain requests. I recall this issue with GA too

The thing I was thinking about was only for the builder so never mind on that.

Are you using Brave or have any blockers? If the request is being made from your device, then you may be blocking FB on your side
