facebook pixel does it go into project settings or global
At a glance
The post asks where the Facebook pixel code should be added, and the ideal place for it. The community members discuss several options:
- The global custom code field in the project settings can be used to add the code, with the <head> tag and the code in an <html> element.
- Using a slot for the HTML embed to ensure the code is the same on every page.
- If there are two scripts, one for the head and one for the body, use the project settings for the head and an HTML embed for the body.
However, the community members encounter issues with the Facebook pixel not being recognized, even when added to the project settings. They suggest checking the network panel to see if the pixel is making a request, and note that project settings only run on the published site, not the builder.
The community members also discuss potential blockers, such as using Brave or other ad blockers, that may be preventing the Facebook pixel from working.
If they give you two scripts and one needs to be in the head and one in the body then use the projecting settings for the head and and html embed for the body
I put a facebook pixel in the project settings custom code and facebook cant seem to recognize it. Is this just an issue of dns not yet refreshing? or am I doing something wrong?
Project settings only run on the published site so make sure youre testing outside the builder. Let us know if its still happening and share the site please
i dont see it there, meanwhile the tag for google analytics which was placed by someone else in the same place for custom code a while ago is there and can be seen in the network pannel.
yeah I was testing with the event setup tool from facebook which opens up the page url directly. Can I share the website even if it has to do with BDSM (no nudity or excplicit images or texts)? I saw some notice against this.
