The community member has a question about the fair usage policy on the lifetime unlimited plan, as they are a freelancer who builds websites for small businesses and non-profits and bills a monthly retainer to host and maintain the sites. They are unsure if this usage would fall under the "Reselling or sublicensing Webstudio access to third parties in bulk" category. The community members in the comments confirm that this usage is fine, as the company is protecting against someone using the plan to generate millions of page views, which would be damaging for them. They also mention that they will provide more concrete phrasing for the fair usage policy in the future.
I have a question about the fair usage policy on the lifetime unlimited plan. As a freelancer that builds websites for clients and bills a monthly retainer to host and maintain the sites, that plan is the most attractive to me. But does that fall under the "Reselling or sublicensing Webstudio access to third parties in bulk" category? All sites I build are for small business / non-profits. I don't think that usage would be included in that clause, but wanted to check before forking over a $1000 π
What we are protecting against is someone using it to generate millions and millions of page views, we don't even know what that number is, but it must be damaging for us to take action
