File Upload Form Component

At a glance

The community member is looking to implement a file upload feature within Webstudio, as the iFrame embed from Zoho Forms is slow to load. They don't see a native form component for file uploads in Webstudio. The community members suggest using a service like Airtable or Baserow that have file upload capabilities, as Webstudio is not a backend and cannot host user uploads. One community member notes that the slowness of Zoho Forms is likely due to Zoho's own issues, not the iframe approach. The community member understands they can use a webhook form to pass data to Airtable, but they will move forward with an Airtable iframe for now.

Hello Guys,

I would like to know how would I achieve a file upload within Webstudio. I want users to upload pdfs/jpegs files but would prefer native form component as the iFrame embed I use from Zoho Forms is very slow to load. I dont seem to see a component like this on the pannel.

Its the a way I can use webhook form and also upload files then use something like Pabbly to email the attachment and form responses to the website admin

you need to upload somewhere else, as webstudio is not a backend and is not going to host your user's uploads
for this there are countless services starting with airtable/baserow which have file uploads
Zoho Forms is very slow

If zoho forms are slow its because they are slow, it has nothing to do with the approach or iframe, they are doing something bad if this is actually their fault and not your internet connection
I understand, I though that was like a passthrough compnent similar to how webhook forms pass the data to Airtable without using the embed option. So like a way to map the file onto Airtale.

But I will move with Airtable iframe for now
