First client

At a glance

The community member is celebrating their first client who paid them to build a website using Webstudio, a tool they prefer over WordPress for this client's needs. The client found the community member through word of mouth, as the community member was already managing the client's wife's website. The community member has experience with various website builders like Oxygen, Cwicly, Elementor, and Greenshift, but not Webflow. They are curious to compare Webstudio to Oxygen and other visual builders, particularly in terms of handling stylesheets, tokens, and creating CSS animations.

Amazing, may I ask where they found you and if they cared specifically about Webstudio or didn't care about the tool at all?
Word of mouth : i have his wife's website in my care plan. The guy begins his own activity, knows nothing about websites and doesn't have special needs or functionnality. So i thought that webstudio would be a better fit for him than WordPress, and for me it could be nice to train with this kind of small site
Did you use webflow before?
or any other visual builder?
@Oleg Isonen i never used webflow. I use WordPress and oxygen builder or cwicly builder (also used elementor and greenshift)
I think oxygen builder has always tried to be like webflow, so you have a comparable experience I guess. So I am curious how do you compare oxygen to webstudio subjectively, do you feel like we already reached a "much better product" stage?
For now, i need a place to handle my stylesheets or tokens, and i need to create small CSS animations like the ones we see on Animista
Id say your also like Bricks Builder
