Genesis Cleaning Services - Calgary's Tr...

At a glance
I’m think about migrating my client’s carpet cleaning project from Ycode.com to Webstudio but one thing I’m still not sure if we can do this yet inside Webstudio is selecting “Calendar” feature. I noticed that we have “Time” component already in the builder. As a website designer for tradespeople, this is absolutely necessary. Is the any way to implement this? Here is a link to this client’s site I’ve built for them: http://genesiscleaningyyc.com/

When I look closer at Ycode.com’ CMS item, they have “Date and DateTime” feature (see pictures)

Yes. when you add an input you can change the input type

Exact way it looks is determined by your browser. Input just says "hey browser show your date picker"
@John Siciliano can you show me a quick example of this? Say when user select one of this date where will it goes to? Airtable????
If you're using a webhook form, one thing happens by default: someone is sent a notification email with the values of the form (either you or who you customize it too). You can easily send it to airtable though https://docs.webstudio.is/university/marketplace/form-integrations/airtable
Where is this? I can’t seem to find it? How do you manage to change this? Mine, I can’t seem to find it
Under forms add input then go to settings and change type
thats the label for an input
you need input itself
Hm. come to think of it "text input" probably isn't the best name anymore. Maybe we should change that to just Input @Oleg Isonen ?
This got me more and more excited with Webstudio 🤩 I’m rebuilding this client’s site with Webstudio very soon
@John Siciliano thanks so much for your speedy response and help. Michael appreciate it!
I have honestly no idea right now why we called it Text Input and not just Input
maybe because of checkbox/radio which is also just input, and because we didn't add all types initially
@John Siciliano I am 90% done with my other client's website project I'm thinking about migrating to Webstudio. I just don't know how to map field like 'Check box', 'dropdown' and that 'Date' component from Webstudio to Airtable say when a user check a certain box or select a certain date. I know that for form that is mapped to Airtable we can simply copy Webhook url of that particular Airtable base and paste it to Webstudio Webhook form on the setting. I have tested this and it works well for filed like 'Name, Email, Phone number' but not the field like 'Date, Checkbox, Dropdown' elements. Please if you could show me how I would really appreciate it. Majority of my website design clients are tradespeople so 'Date, Checkboxes, and or Dropdown' components are absolutely necessary. Thanks!

They are no different, you set the name in the settings panel, same name lands in your database
