Getting rid of Double Slash URL (Airtable)

At a glance

The community members discuss this issue, with some suggesting that the double slash is a standard part of the URL protocol and should not be a problem for SEO. Is there a way to get rid of the double slash problem with the Airtable image URLs?

The problem is, if i fetch the Image from Airtable via url, it uses the https:// doubled. So all SEO tools are giving out an error, which isnt good for my SEO. Picture is showing an example.

would love to hear so recommondations ❀️

Can you explain more? The image you're showing has a status code of 200 (which is what you want).
I'll fetch images from my Airtable CMS.

in the Link "Full URL" u can see "https://festspiele-balver-hoehle.de/cgi/image/ .. and then in there inserted is the URL i fetch from Airtable. and there agains is a https%3A//
And this second "//" is a problem for the seo crawler, cause the url indicates two "//"
nobody a solution for this ? πŸ₯²
Hi, I don't understand
https:// <-- these 2 slashes? that's standard
yes, but it fetches the Airtable URL for displaying the Image.

Webstudio is giving out this:

this is causing a double Slash problem
I don't quite understand what your are doing
if airtable delivers a full url, then that should be passed to webstudio image processing
ok, let me step a little back back.

I am using Airtable as my CMS for a Portfolio.
There are Attachment fields with Images, which i am fetching via API.

But the returned URL from Webstudio has the double // from the Airtable https:// in it.

and that is causing a lot of errors on these pages for SEO.
sorry if my explanation isnt the best, i am trying πŸ˜…
same problem in there with the baserow
I am saying this is not jus double slash, this is part of protocol notation, its a valid syntax and should not have anything to do with SEO
SEO has nothing to do with the images, who is telling this bs?
is there some tool that reports your image urls not being good?
or is something actually not working
no its working properly πŸ™‚
so what's the problem?
ahref is giving an error to all these images. Also i can see a drop in rankings and impressions on these pages, after they've accured.
this is crap, ignore it
they probably don't distinguish between image src urls and regular urls
Also i can see a drop in rankings and impressions on these pages, after they've accured.

I don't beleive this has anything to do with it
probably. not saying u are wrong, just investigating:) is there a way to maybe resolve this by setting a right tag/attribute for the url?
it is correctly done
nothing to resolve there
ahref is sometimes misleading
(y) thanks for helping out πŸ™‚
