The community member has a question about the new pricing for Webstudio, specifically whether they can create and publish a website for free without access to the CMS, which seems to be only available in the paid plan. The comments indicate that the pricing hasn't changed, and the CMS has always been part of the pro plan. Some community members mention that the free plan used to have more features like 5 custom domains, and one community member has a lifetime deal. There is a discussion around whether the CMS could be made available in the free plan, especially for early-stage use cases, but the community members acknowledge that the $20/month for the pro plan is a reasonable price, even for companies hosting multiple websites. The community members also discuss the possibility of self-hosting the Webstudio builder, which is mentioned to be free and open-source, but requires more technical expertise.
Hi all, I have question regarding the new pricing. So in simple terms I can create and publish "1 website" for Free in Webstudio, with a cap on limitations and submissions of course, but I do not get to use the CMS? It only shows up in the paid plan?
Would there be any pricing models for self-hosting the builder itself, as I remember seeing that it was in experimental stage and you could set it up? https://docs.webstudio.is/university/self-hosting
