How to Export and Self-Host Your Site on...

At a glance

The community member is in the process of switching from Webflow and is interested in self-hosting. They have watched a video on self-hosting and are wondering if the process is the same for Hostinger. They also have questions about how to handle forms in a self-hosted setup and whether they should use a third-party service.

The comments suggest that the process for self-hosting on Hostinger will depend on how the community member hosts their JavaScript app there. One community member mentions that they used to export the code from Webflow and upload the files directly without changing anything. Another community member suggests following a documented process for deploying the app, which is available in the documentation.

Regarding forms, the community is currently working on a new version that will be documented. In the meantime, community members suggest using a webhook to send form data to an external service.

I saw this video on self hosting

Is the process remains same for hostinger?
Also, in case of self host. how are forms handled?
Should I use some third party?

we don't have anything particular for hostinger, its a js app, so it will depend on how you host it there
For webflow I used to export the code and upload the files directly without changing anything
for deploying app, is there any process I should follow?
regarding forms, we are changing it right now, so the new version will be documented
you can use a webhook to send to any external service
how you deploy on hostinger - idk, there must be tutorials for hostinger and node
you can use a webhook
