The community member is interested in the "Webstudio" feature that allows creating API bindings, and is eager to see what's in the store. They are a sole proprietor/freelancer who has used Webflow in the past and is now shifting to Plasmic. The community members discuss the use cases, with the original poster mentioning personal/client use, and the importance of clean and reusable code, as well as the ability to build web apps with static site generators/server-side rendering while also having a no-code editor for clients.
In cases where the client doesn't require frequent changes, svelte/gatsby does the job lightly.
Webflow was used for ecommerce with hundreds of products/product variants. Dynamic & easy to update for the client.
It would be nice to eventually be able to build web apps with SSGs/SSRs while also having a no code editor for the clients. An all in one native toolkit (like a headless cms embed). But clean & reusable code is of highest importance.
