Is this behavior intended? Dragging element after clicking on symbol

I am curious to know whether this behavior is intended or a bug. Because it fucked up my page structure multiple times already. When clicking on an element icon in the navigator it enables the "drag"-mode to change the element's position in the hierarchy. When I click on the element name, it selects it as expected.

The video shows what happens when I click on the icon (I am not holding down the mouse) and it still drags.

Curios to know whether this is a feature or a bug, because it annoys me more than it is useful πŸ™ˆ I usually click on the element in the navigator without a lot of precision and thought. If I want to drag it, I hold down the mouse.

Thanks

No idea, I guess not. But looking at What, How & Why, I've heard about changing the order to start with Why, then How, then What. Something about storytelling and simon sinek
Haha thanks. I am aware of this concept but I decided against it for this usecase πŸ˜…
Ahh okay! I know it is a bit random 😝
definitely a bug, nice catch!
@TrySound just rewrote the tree implementation, please check if the bug exists there as well, if not, it will be fixed automatically next, if yes, we need an issue
I didn't rewrite navigator yet and stories does not have icons
so should I create an issue or rather add a todo to check this during integration?
It's been driving me crazy and have been meaning to ask. πŸ˜†
Confirmed on Windows. Annoying.
I'll check if it can be fixed with our new tree implementation
Killed it in the new version. Will post it soon here to test
I'm eagerly waiting for this fix. This "dragging" bug driving (or maye I should say dragging) me crazy πŸ˜…
Yep, icons do not trigger drag in the new tree
separate design story, needs to be discussed separately, I can't pollute this thread
Then just move it.
if you repost it in #οΈ³builder-design and delete here, then we can keep that conversation there going
