Issue with Desktop app sign in

I was testing WS with the desktop app for a few days. Then decided to buy and used another email for the purchase. I can use the web version fine, but the desktop app persists in logging me in with the test account. I tried signing out and deleting/re-installing the app but when I try to sign in with Google it keeps signing me with the test account. Is there any way to select which Google account I want to sign in for the desktop app?

we are going to work on a new signin flow so at some point we will fix this, for now try reinstalling the app
currently once it takes your selected google account, it will just try to relogin you with it
