Laggy animation(?)

Question

Hi all I'm working on a new site and I'm trying to create a hero scroll animation.
For some reason the animation is laggy, don't really know what am I doing wrong.

on chrome 135 no issues, what's yours?

Main is also Chrome 135, but that is my experience.I'll try to play with that a bit more.
