Losing Drag and Drop Feature When Displaying as Block
Losing Drag and Drop Feature When Displaying as Block
At a glance
The post asks if making an element display: block will cause the loss of a drag and drop feature. The community members discuss various approaches, such as using 100vw for a marquee, but encounter issues with overflow. They suggest that making the HTML display: block may disable the drag and drop functionality. One community member provides a fix using fixed width on the container, but the language barrier seems to be a challenge. The community members also discuss the idea of creating a template for this feature, as it appears to be a popular demand.
Yeah you're right it's still working but not fully. I mean when I made html display block it became unable to use it out of the box. So now I think I shouldn't make it block and making 100vw is not working too.
I don't get it, I showed you the fix - its using fixed with on the container that grows bigger than viewport, that's it, no need to touch html, no need for custom embed code for workarounds
btw maybe its a great idea to have this thing as a template in the marketplace, because it seems like a popular demanded feature and most don't konw how to do it
