The community member created builders as per the guide on the website, but found that they cannot use the marketplace. The comments suggest that it is possible to use the marketplace from the database by creating a project, configuring the marketplace product, and publishing the project. However, there is no way to automatically get all marketplace items into a self-hosted builder, as this is considered user data. The community members discuss that this limitation should be mentioned in the documentation and pricing page. For now, the only option is to copy and paste the desired marketplace items into the local projects, which is not very convenient.

It is possible to use marketplace from your database. Just create a project and go to project settings to configure marketplace product. Then publish the project and go to "Project" db table to approve the project.
as for self-hosting marketplace items, we have yet to build a feature that lets user select the license and if its permissive, then you would be able to get these items into your local place, for now assume its free to use but you don't own the distribution license
