What if we could just import any website into our builder and edit it? It could save us loads of time and spark new creativity.
I always go out and look for new designs for inspiration from sites like Dribbble and Awwwards. It would be nice to take static sites and use them as templates.
Why? Saves Time: Import a website, edit, and done. Super Simple: Easy editing for everyone. Mix & Match: Combine old and new for cool designs. Learn by Playing: Great for beginners since the tool is better suited for intermediate devs right now.
Vote if you like it, or tell me if I'm missing a way to do it.
I currently use the content embed component to paste in my HTML, CSS, and JS code. I've never seen this don't before but I'd appreciate it if WebStudio could take my imported code and format it so it can be edited with the built in editing tools. If so, I wouldn't have to go and manually edit my imported code within the content embed component.
I can see how the pricing could be a little confusing. The free tier has a page view limit but also says self host. The others don't say anything about hosting, per se, but also show a page view limit.
I've never thought about it but I'm glad someone brought it up.
If I refer someone and they've never bought these types of plans before, they may get a little confused.
