Hi I am a bit confused on the best way to set up a localhost environment for testing for my needs as a designer?
Currently I use MAMP/XAMPP or Laravel Herd as the various CMS's I'm evaluating all run on these. I've installed the Webstudio desktop program on my PC and want to connect it to various CMS's I'm hosting locally in Herd and XAMPP etc and I'm a bit confused how to do so as in Webstudio it says you have to have a cloud hosted pro version of the software? I'm not interested in anything cloud hosted for design and development at the moment, maybe in the future. Ideally I want to install a front end design tool like Webstudio on my PC and use my localhost server for design, development and testing and then export a static site that flattens any dynamic data connections to deploy wherever I want. Is this something achievable with Webstudio? Is there a guide on how to do so if so? Cheers
