Outseta integration

At a glance

The post discusses the integration between Webflow and Outseta, which enables building a member space with a paying portal. Community members are interested in a direct integration between the two platforms. The comments discuss the potential for deeper integration, including server-side rendering and fetching of data, once the integration API is available. Some community members express concerns about the security of using JavaScript to hide private pages, and prefer a deeper integration like the one Webflow has with Outseta. One community member mentions that Outseta is a powerful SaaS for launching a business and that the Outseta app on Webflow allows creating a private custom member space and syncing with sales and marketing tools. Another community member notes that Webflow has discontinued its user account functionality and recommends Outseta, expressing a hope that a similar integration will happen with Webstudio in the future.

Outseta integration
How are we going to influance Outseta and Webflow integration? Should we buy webflow? 🤣
Jokes aside, once we open up integrations api, its going to be possible to deeply integrate, including server side rendering and fetching of data.
I don't think webflow does this, need to check
otherwise just clientside-integration using html embed doesn't work?
at a glance the embeds should work but I would need to test this.

Thanks for sharing B!
I did not try it but anyway this is not the best way because it uses javascript to hide private pages which is not really secured. I would prefer a deep integration like they have with Webflow
If it uses JavaScript to load content, it can be totally secure
no it uses JavaScript to hide public pages of a website and turn it into Private pages
it is very useful when you want to quickly build a paying portal on your website but it is actually possible to break the portal if you have a certain experience
I like Outesta a lot, it is to my opinion one of the best SaaS on the market, very powerful to launch a business
it would be super strange if they do it this way, need to check
this is an uptade they have to prevent this problem
I guess you did not had the time to check yet, but this is still something I find really interesting.

The Outseta app on Webflow allows to create a private custom memberspace, sync with your sales / marketing suite. I find this integration really really powerful. I indeed don’t know how to influence Outseta to build this integration for Webstudio...

Webflow discontinues its user account functionality and recommends Outseta. Outseta is an incredible piece of software. It deserves it! I dream that something similar will happen with Webstudio, when the API is ready!
