Regulatory information on webstudio's iso 27001 certification

At a glance

The community member is assessing the use of Webstudio in their company and needs information on whether Webstudio has passed the ISO 27001 certification. The comments indicate that Webstudio has not invested time and money into this certification, but the community member can self-host the site separately from the builder to meet compliance requirements. Additionally, the comments suggest that since websites are public, most compliance is about data gathered from users, which is more about the backend than the Webstudio builder itself. The community members also note that using Webstudio cloud with a certified backend/CMS would likely result in 100% compliance, and that the main concern is about protecting credentials and other data, not the Webstudio builder itself.

Hello! I'm actually assessing the use of Webstudio in our company but I need a regulatory information. Do you have passed the ISO 27001 certification? Cannot find any information on your website, nor a generic Google search. Thank you!

We have not invested time and money into this, that's the only reason.

If you are required to have that, you can selfhost.
Thank you @Oleg Isonen !
You can also selfhost the site itself separately from the builder, so you don't need to host the builder but the site, which is much simpler
Additionally since websites are public, most compliances are about data that you gather from your users, so its about backends, while webstudio is not a backend.
You are most likely 100% compliant if you use webstudio cloud with a certified backend/cms
In your case and our usage, that's more about the credentials and security measures in place to protect those credentials (for your cloud subscription) or other data you may have about us. Our website does not store any information in the backend as it is just a marketing website.
Thank you for your insights!
Very nice project i'm looking forward to discuss in our company, and I hope to use one day!
