Requesting assistance with a problem.

At a glance

The post is a request for help with a problem. The comments discuss how to copy and paste section templates from a library called "onx ui" into a tool called "Webstudio". Community members provide step-by-step instructions on how to do this, and the creator of the library, Sam Gilbert, also responds with updates and offers to help. One community member mentions having issues with copying and pasting from certain browsers, and suggests adding a disclaimer about that to the library's site.

Can anyone help me out with this problem please?

if you are copying a section template, where do you expect to use it?
I don't know. For example, I was hoping to use the hero section template. But how does one even do that? if anyone knows, please help. It's apparently the same way you'd do it with webflow to webstudio. I'm really confused.
I havent used that yet, but try just adding a box component and place the cursor inside it on the canvas and then paste it by pressing ctrl+v if you are on windows
Click on "Main" div and them paste
Or like that πŸ‘
You know what you are? An angel. Thank you so much!!!
good thing you asked - i just found out about it and bought the onx ui library on appsumo
That's great then, because I spoke to the dev and he said they'd be adding more templates over time. Yay!!!
Hi @jumade , Sam here, the creator of the library. I'm probably late to the question, but I will record some setup videos.

Also, an update: this week, the library will switch to Craft, allowing you to copy and paste layouts into existing Craft projects with no issues.

Also if you have any issues or requests about it feel free to DM or tag me.
@Sam Gilbert, I learned about your product from this thread and bought it. I was having some copy/paste issues as well but figured out what I was doing wrong. I was copying from FF and pasting (trying) to the desktop Webstudio version. I needed to login to my account on a chromium browser in order to copy properly. Just a heads up.
Thank @Jeremy β€” yes the copy and paste doesnt do so well on other browsers β€” maybe i should add that disclaimer to the site
What can I say, that was some good free affiliate marketing on my end lol. It's a great tool and I hope you keep updating on it because a combination of your tool and webstudio is the future!
Thanks @jumade for spreading the word - really appreciate it β€” I'm actively working on it so updates are coming, hopping to start working on it full time as more people use it.
Yeah, a disclaimer would be good. I was banging my head on that for a while. πŸ™‚
