hi, can you clarify what you mean by "upload an article"?
I want to upload this article
what do you mean by upload?
My biggest hurdle is to get the content from Webflow and into Webstudio, with keeping the same format and images. I got it into Markdown and was able to get it into Webstudio, but the images are still hosted in Webflow and I am not able to style the images properly in Webstudio, and keep the small ALT text
Preferable to copy and paste, yes
when you copy a single image and paste into webstudio, is it uploading to webstudio?
If I copy paste outside the Rich text editor
so the problem appears when you copy a rich text element, it keeps the image loading from webflow?
It would be great if you add Rich Text Editor and not have it so confusion with Markdown/HTML
My problem is the difficulties with copy any rich text into Webstudio
I have to convert everything to Markdown using third party solution but the heading is not same colour and styling with images are off
If you had Rich Text Editor, we could simply copy and paste directly from Word or any other place, now I feel it is a bit too clunky
can you answer this question pls?
I have to convert everything to Markdown using third party solution but the heading is not same colour and styling with images are off
convert from what?
That is part of the issue, yes. My problem is that I cannot just copy and paste Rich Text into Webstudio. I have to convert Rich Text to pure HTML and upload it as HTML embed in Webstudio or as Markdown
Let me reframe the problem for simplicity reasons: How can I copy and paste Rich Text to Webstudio?
I just inserted rich text in webflow and copied it into webstudio without issues
are you trying to convert a webflow cms-based rich text?
Then I get prompted with this. This has images though. But I need the images as well
No the Webflow Rich Text is not from CMS
this is definitely an error, lets get your data and fix this bug
use this tool to paste into that and then copy it back as text and paste here
is it ok if I attach this data to the issue? on github?
btw how did you get figcaption and figure into rich text? I was looking for these and didn't find them
I just added it in Webflow rich text editor, under the image as shown in the screenshot above
their plus button at the end is terrible, I forgot it exists and didn't see it
Thanks!
Another thing. My domain hoster does not make support CNAME on root level. Is it correct then to add the CNAME value to www instead? Can that work?
Yes, use CNAME on www, forward root to your www
