Seo Tools Like Screpy.com: Whitelisting Ip Addresses
At a glance
The post asks if anyone uses the SEO tool Screpy.com and where they whitelist the IP addresses. The comments provide the following insights:
A community member uses Screpy.com but it doesn't work with the cloud version of Webstudio. They suggest self-hosting Screpy.com to bypass this issue, as the company includes the IP addresses in their documentation. The community member also mentions that Screpy.com has been trying to become a verified bot with Cloudflare, but this process has not been going well.
Other community members follow up, asking if self-hosting is the only option and inquiring about the issues Screpy.com is facing with Cloudflare verification. The responses indicate that Screpy.com is waiting on Cloudflare, and community members can either self-host or wait for the verification process to be completed. One community member prefers to wait, as they want the benefits of the cloud version of Webstudio.
Overall, the comments suggest that self-hosting Screpy.com may be a viable option if the cloud version is not working, but the community members are also waiting to see if Screpy.com can resolve the Cloudflare verification issue.
@Batman-sama , I "use" screpy.com but it doesn't work on the cloud version of Webstudio. If you self-host you can bypass this by using screpy's IP addresses. They include this in their docs. I've been in contact with them and they have been trying to become a verified bot with cloudflare for quite some time but it's not going well.
It sounds like they are waiting on Cloudflare. You can message them and ask the status of that, they seem to reply within a short time and are helpful.
Right now, it seems like you'll either need to self-host or just wait. I choose to wait since I want the benefits of the cloud version on Webstudio.
I see, alright. Thank you for the input, this was helpful. I'll also probably try my hand at self-hosting one of these days. Just need more info on it, and possibly my own server built and setup for all the apps and resources needed.
