Setting up a repository on a dev container and encountering an error after waiting for 1 hour

need help regarding setting up repo on dev Container and after 1 hrs of waiting vs code shows me this error

We never tested setup on windows. You have more chances to run builder in Linux or macos

well I feel like this is something that needs done. Can I help in anyway? I'm trying to run it on windows anyway.
