We will be looking into that most likely in Q1 or Q2, in the meantime we discovered that its already possible to use shopify withhout even using their APIs.

As someone already built a shop with webstudio and shopify.
Do you mean inserting an order button via HTML? If yes, then I tried it. My issue with both Shopify and Ecwid is that when I publish the page, the button (in my case, along with the select) doesn’t immediately appear when navigating to the page. You need to refresh the page once or twice, and only then does it show up.
that must be badly done embed
Example shop we found made in webstudio https://www.artikelkbh.com/
Not at the laptop right now, I’ll send it later, thanks.
the downside of the shopify buy button as a solution is that it’s not always compatible with shopify apps. so if you go this route and have shopify apps that you want to use…definitely check for compatibility.
I think apis are also not always compatible with apps or are they?
i think that was the case at one point in time but it seems like there may have been some improvements over the past year or so.

i think that’s could be why smootify is able to integrate with so many third party apps now. https://www.smootify.io/integrations

when smootify first launched their webflow integration the third party apps it was compatible with was limited.

i haven’t been fully keeping up with the ecosystem since i’ve been trying to move away from webflow. i’ve been holding out for the webstudio solution before fully getting back into building e-commerce sites again.
i could be off base here since i’ve been only casually following shopify dev stuff for the past year. but i do remember it seemed like they started pushing headless more.
and that seemed to coincide with smootify and shopyflow offering more functionality in their integrations.
this is the best integration in webflow as it uses liquid code @Oleg Isonen

https://www.liquify.pro/#section-features

maybe something like this, that also uses the liquid code
buildig shopify themes is way worse than what we are doing, building full website in webstudio that talks to shpify via api, this way you can have on the website in a single place all other backends/services integrated while not having to export the frontend anywhere
All webflow integrations for shopify have no other choice, because webflow doens't have a way to talk to 3rd party apis
they are forced to build bridges with html export and conversions. Its a big mess.
