Shopyflow: Shopify ⇔ Webflow Integration

At a glance

The community member is interested in finding an e-commerce solution to use with Webflow. They discovered a service called Shopyflow and are excited about the prospect of headless e-commerce on Webflow's roadmap. The comments discuss various options, including using Shopify's GraphQL API, Payload CMS, and Ecwid API. Some community members suggest that integrating Webflow with Shopify could be a significant development. Another community member is looking for a workaround to set up a wholesale store without needing Stripe integration, and a commenter suggests trying commerce.js.

Useful resources
I just check to have an e-commerce solution with Webflow and I fall to this solution: https://www.shopyflow.com/

Seems nice (but I've not tested). I know (headless) e-commerce is on your roadmap but I don't know when it will be possible.

Cannot wait for it! For sure it will be a (huge) banger. It will be possible to stop with some (horrible) template (and the difficulties to maintain them) 🙏💪

When I check their demo, it seems that you made a great job already. Shopify has a GraphQL API. So it would be already possible to have a front and get some data from Shopify to Webstudio. But I think some components specifically designed for e-commerce would be missing...

I have to test!
Another ressource to check in order to compare : https://www.smootify.io/
@Milan Boisgard | Uncode School, I've been playing with Payload CMS. Last night I got it self-hosted, connected to supabase and then to my Webstudio project. I'll be testing out their e-commerce template soon.

This is possibly a way to get a store up and running without waiting for the roadmap.

thanks Jeremy! How much does it cost?

(the website is really great BTW)

Seems a great solution, but I think the huge market is on Shopify to replace themes. It's easy to clients for manage their e-commerce and it would be great to make a beautiful and useful frontend with Webstudio unless to code in liquid.

For the future, the market is also on woocommerce, prestashop...
If you self-host, it's free. The only cost is whatever strip takes from your transactions.
Agreed, the Webstudio to Shopify would be a big deal. But if you want a solution now, this might be an option. 🙂
Thanks a lot I gonna check! My random discussion was about e-commerce and Shopify because I see it on the roadmap and I have to say that I'm really excited about that (made a previous 2 e-commerce and exited, so it would like to go back to back to ecommerce soon and using Webstudio would be great) !
Nice! What were those projects?

I just was reading the Ecwid API docs. Looks possible to connect to that as well, however it hasn't been updated in years so I don't know if it's a good option. It has the management stuff like Shopify.
I din't know Ecwid API! I have to check!

It was e-commerce projects (VR/AR and sustainable stuff). Great time but I think I rather build websites than running them. There are a lot a possible clients on Shopify and I don't want to (re)learn liquid and build theme with that. I really think front headless is the best way to align teams (Design and Dev on Webstudio / Logistic and Marketing on Shopify backend / Marketing and Communication on Hygraph, Stapi, Wordpress whatever for blogging...).
Agreed, I like the separation as well.
Hey! I noticed you´re discussing a workaround to make e-commerce possible with Webstudio.
I also need a workaround and was wondering if you might have a solution that is possible already.

My store is a wholesale store (currently woo-commerce). Please add their products to the cart, but then they don´t check out but send the cart information to my email, so that I can make them a custom offer. So I don´t need stripe integration or anything like verification.

I would appreciate any help or ideas!
Have you tried commerce.js?
