Site SEO Dashboard

At a glance

The community members discuss a feature in their current site development platform that provides a 'Site SEO Dashboard'. This dashboard allows users to view and manage various aspects of their website's SEO, such as dead links, missing images, missing or empty image alt attributes, missing page metadata, and duplicate page metadata. The platform also integrates a basic AI functionality to automatically generate metadata suggestions based on the page content. Community members express their appreciation for this feature and would love to see something similar in Webstudio. Additionally, one community member suggests adding the ability to set a default site title template and social image for pages without defined metadata.

My current site development platform has a feature that, although quite basic, clients love: a 'Site SEO Dashboard'. It essentially lists all pages and all images in the website, allowing the user to filter and show:
  • dead links
  • images that are missing
  • images that have missing or empty 'alt' attributes
  • pages that have missing metadata (checks 'title' and 'description')
  • pages that have duplicate metadata (i.e., same title and/or description as another page)
The client can then fix broken links, as well as edit and correct image and page metadata directly from that Dashboard. They have also integrated a basic AI functionality, so that the client can get the AI to automatically generate meta data based on the content - i.e., suggest title and description based on the content of the page, and suggest image alt descriptions.

Needless to say, if the client has an 'SEO Expert' working with them, they absolutely love that they can go to a single place to edit all image and page metadata.

It would be amazing to have something like this in Webstudio.

This would be fantastic. Yes please.
It would also be nice if there was a way to add a default site title template (like Page Name – Site Name) and social image if there wasn’t one defined for the page.
