Switching from Wordpress / Elementor to Webstudio: Any advice?

At a glance

The community members are discussing the pros and cons of switching from Wordpress/Elementor to Webstudio. Some key points raised:

- It's difficult to give advice without more context about the user's specific needs and goals.

- Wordpress is good for out-of-the-box simplicity, but may not be suitable for highly customized work. Webstudio's page builder is considered better than Elementor.

- Webstudio may offer more design options and backend features like Airtable integration, but Elementor is still a good option for blogging on Wordpress.

The community members suggest the user should consider what backend, database, and CMS best fits their needs before deciding on a platform.

Its hard to give advice without context, we wrote some things that may help https://webstudio.is/blog
it depends what you are trying to achieve, wordpress is good for out of the box simplicity, but terrible for very custom work
I do think webstudio page builder is way better than elementor though
Elementor is based on wordpress and that is still very good for blogging. Webstudio might give you more design options and more options for backend like airtable. Webstudio+Wordpress is possible, but then I personally wouldn't make that change and keep Elementor. What backend / database / CMS fits your needs best?
