Text formatting

At a glance

The community member is creating a new website and wants to copy and paste large amounts of text from their old website, which was built on Webflow, into the new website built on Webstudio. However, they are having trouble maintaining the formatting of the text when copying it over. The community members discuss potential solutions, such as using the "cmd shift v" shortcut on Mac, but there is no explicitly marked answer provided.

Hello,
I am creating our new website but all the text are already done and formatted at our old website.

What I want to do is copy and paste these huge texts (eg privacy policy and other big stuff) into my new website. But unfortunately I manage to break the text formatting every time. I tried the option of copying the text from the website into the editor, but the result is not good either.

I'd appreciate any ideas on how to avoid manual rewriting. Thank you in advance.

Old Webstudio website? Or external
If external sounds inevitable but try cmd shift v if you are on mac
No, I mean:

We have an old website. Now I am creating a new one via Webstudio.

I am copying the text (already structured and formatted) to the webstudio but unfortunately it looses it's formatting there.
Where was the old website built?
