Why not Ghost? I ask because I don't want to recommend something that shares the same trait about Ghost that you dislike
I used it a lot and it is very limited a they don't do mush to improve the tool ^^'
@Khalil seems like you got some experience, why don't you tell us what exactly was wrong with ghost?
I used the full product. Article creation/customization is very limited in the builder and the sorting/filtering in the back is horrible when you have more than 20 articles and also if you need migrations you're stuck with no bulk exports if I remember well
Overhaul I don't like what they do + it seems the tool is not evolving at all
Filters are decent, no? Also you can bulk export.

So seems the problem is with article customization? Can you elaborate? For a blogging tool I think they have a lot of components so curious where it falls short.

Yeah not many updates though

Also not trying to convince you ghost is great, just again, trying to understand its shortcomings for you so I don't recommend a tool just like it

I created more than a 100 articles and I rage quit ^^
It was last year so I don't remember all details
I know that for import/export they had a big limiting problem for sure or it changed recently
And the builder is not thought for people doing a lot of blogging or that has quick UI stuff for SEO like they have a problem with Heading in the builder
When you need to manipulate or create a lot of articles their sorting and filtering is pain in the ass
I am sure that if you can display 1 to 3 solid solutions on your website it could benefits a lot to web studio because it looks very complicated to find something efficiant to add a blog to a custom website
Based on what you said so far I am not sure this would help you either way, seems like you have a very particular set of requirements.
Adding a blog and adding a blog that meets specific requirements are too different things πŸ™‚ Here I add a blog in less than 2 mins https://youtu.be/3swTUyYZrYI

As for something that meets your requirements, I would look at the page Oleg shared and look for type = "CMS". Normally I would recommend "Blogging Engine" for you but having more control over the admin page is something more inline with a CMS where you can build and customize models
