Haven't looked into them for years, they seem to have rebranded into WordPress builder. So they integrate specifically with wordpress only
I saw the tutorial from yesterday connecting GraphQL (and it connects to other 3rd Party GraphQL based platforms as well), However heavily targetted for WP users, it is similar-ish idea of Headless CMS > Pagebuilder > static frontend.
Though the pricing is so confusing, reminds me of webflow pricing models
can you share the link to that tutorial? Just want to see what Adam meant by "good way of connecting CMS"
we know there are things which can be much better when working with 3rd party APIs and we will get to that, but it would be great to have any concrete reference

I wouldn't say it's any extra innovative than what i am doing in WS

Differences i noticed were :

  • Binding bit seems 'slightly' easier (They call LOOP to what we call Collection in WS) but no drilling down do data.data....
  • Adding Params for example they open 3 windows only to get to params (which i find bit cluttered)
Honestly everything else seems the same to me just in dark-mode
In this issue which is on the roadmap, I have a summary of things we want to improve around the data: https://github.com/webstudio-is/webstudio/issues/3691
@Oleg Isonen maybe a solid app from webstudio like
“Webstudio wordpress app”
Where you install the app on webstudio and also install the plugin on wordpress.
deep integration via a plugin that makes it plug in play would def. make it easier to use, but for now we will be focused on improving the generic UI to work with any api
If the direction is going to be like before, where we’re writing an expression.

There should be AI that can help writing it.

You know the future now is a vibe coding..
AI def. should help write those things.
And no, vibe coding is for prototyping, its not solving production-grade or any serious projects.
It does help serious project.
The pessimism on vibe coding can help you, it’s just how you see it.
Like I said, for prototyping stage its fine.
everyone just moves fast right now
