The community members are discussing issues with setting up a directory using Airtable. One member tried the main project and individual pages in Airtable, but did not get the desired results, and instead copied a project from YouTube. Another member is having trouble with the search and sorting features, and would like to add a search bar and preset filter options that reference the categories in their Airtable. They have tried following a YouTube tutorial, but are still having difficulties.
I tried the main project, and individual pages in Airtable, neither gave what I needed. I copied a project from youtube instead and have a nice directory up and running now thankfully.
Though I'm having some issue with the search/sorting feature. I would like to add a search bar that allows the user to search the directory, and also include a number of preset filter options that they can just click on. The template I'm using from this video https://youtu.be/21y1_CiBqnM includes a filter bar, but I can not figure out how to change its results to my needs.
