Typesense integration

At a glance

The post asks if the community members have worked with Typesense. The comments indicate that Typesense works fine, and one community member is interested in using it with their Baserow database. Another community member is using the Typesense docsearch scraper, which works like Algolia, to populate a Typesense database with their site's content. They provide details on how they set up Typesense on a Fly.io machine and use the Typesense JavaScript widget and CSS on their site to provide a search interface. The community members also mention that Typesense offers a cloud-hosted option.

yes, typesense works fine
Can you give me a quick tutorial?
I´d love to use it with my baserow database
I don't know how to use it to pull from a database like baserow. I'm using the docsearch scraper, which works like Algolia
I set up typesense on a fly.io machine. Then another machine runs the docsearch scraper. That scrapes my site and populates the typesense database with pages, heading levels, text
Then the typesense js widget and css are on the site, providing a search interface that connects to the typesense instance
if that would work for you, the setup is there in that link, except for running typesense on fly
you can also pay for their cloud
hosted typesense
