Undo Notification/highlight

At a glance

The community members discussed a suggestion to have a notification that indicates what was being undone when pressing cmd+z and moving the cursor or focus to the item. This would be helpful when undoing multiple items at a time to know where the user left off. Some community members thought it was a cool idea but were unsure if it was technically feasible, as it would require a system of nouns and verbs for every action that can be done/undone in the app. Others felt it might not be very practical, especially when quickly hitting undo multiple times. However, one community member suggested that the previous item should be selected after deletion, instead of selecting the body, so the user knows where they left off.

It would be nice if there was some notification of what was being undone when pressing cmd+z and moving the cursor or focus to the item. This would be handy if you are undoing multiple items at a time to know where you left off.

I love this suggestion. Thanks! @Taylor WYT?
It's a cool idea but I'm not sure if it's technically feasible. I've never seen a program do this.

So if there was a text notification that said something like "Box width undone" or "Image asset unlinked" or "Shadow color unapplied" then we would have to make a system of nouns and verbs for every action that can be done/undone in the app.

I'm not an engineer so I don't know how hard this would be but it seems very challenging and probably not worth it.
its going to be not very practical because you sometimes hit undo many times quickly
but we should select the previous item after deletion, instead of selecting body, this way you know where you left off
Yes this is good
This would definitely help!
