Unlimited CMS Collections on the Pro Plan

At a glance

The post asks how many CMS collections can be used on the pro plan. The comments discuss the limitations of the current CMS offerings, with some community members suggesting that a simple CMS layer built on top of the platform's database could be a useful addition. There is no explicitly marked answer, but the community members seem to be exploring ideas for improving the CMS capabilities of the platform.

Would love the repost)
Though there is no cms collections to store the data like in framer
Anyways, you have much more than they are for 20$
How Webstudio handles these?
Webstudio collections just iterates over arrays in json
Json is coming from resources which loads data from cms
"The @framer pricing is ridiculous."

even though I agree, I won't repost it because that would incentivice community attack competitors and that's something we try to avoid, if you say the same thing but in a nicer language, I would retweet
If we add simple CMS, webstudio will start making sense to a lot of people who currently don't want to deal with an external CMS
Is this a plan?
As WS runs on CF, maybe you can build a thin CMS layer on top of their D1 DB, simple but powerful with the possibility to run SQL queries. For self-hosted users, it's still a SQLite DB API compatible they could use.
if you know all these words, you can already do it haha
But yeah, generally it would be interesting to come up with a query engine that's flexible enough, but full sql database? idk.
The goal here is to make a super simple collection management, not a full-blown database or complex CMS.
